When you turn your car on does it return the favor? You will smile just looking at this little Swedish Sporty Car! This mid 1967 classic Saab Sonett II was originally owned and rebuilt by George Calindenas, an inventor and well known in the Saab community. It is one of the first models to be powered by the 73 H.P. Monte Carlo V4. A very small amount (70) of these rare V4 cars were built. A total production of 300 Sonetts were built in 1967 of which 230 were were 60H.P. Monte Carlo 2 strokes. This is one of 70 of the late production cars with the early wood dash, original bubble glass front and rear windshields and full instrumentation with an inside/outside temperature gauge. This also was the only year this model was fitted with the Cromodora Wheels. The odometer indicates 32,215 miles but it reportedly has had an engine rebuild less than 10,000 miles ago so it may very well have 132,000. It is rust free, but has had some floor and trunk repair and has paint work many years ago which has had some touch up throughout the years. It is very clean overall for it's age including the engine compartment. The interior is very nice and it runs and drives like it should. This is a very unique investment vintage Saab Sporty Car.
